Klay Thompson is presently plays for the Golden State Warriors of the NBA. He plays generally as a shooting guard. He played college basketball for 3 seasons at Washington State University before being chosen by Golden State with the 11th choice of the 2011 NBA draft.

The NBA did not choose Thompson for the 2012 NBA All-Star Weekend Rising Star Challenge. Still, in the 4 games after that decision, he enhanced in all areas of basketball over his present season averages. On January 2013, he scored a season-high 32 points versus the Cleveland Cavaliers.
